Sexual Abuse in an Elite Jesuit High School
More than twenty years ago. teachers (allegedly) sexually abused schoolboys at the Canisius College in Berlin. The school is known as one of the elite high schools of the German capital.
Allegedly, two "Padres" are suspected of having abused many boys in the 1970's and 1980's. According to the high school principal, Peter Klaus Mertes, the two men left the Jesuit order in the beginning of the 1980's and since then have not been teaching in the high school any more.
A Street Robber Makes Getaway With 1.5 Million Euros
A worker of the Islamic Religious Community in Wilmersdorf was on the way to the bank as a man knocked him down and stole the suit case which he was carrying. There were 1.5 million euros in the case, which was to be paid into an account in the bank.
A speaker of the religious ommunity did not want to give any details as to where the money came from and what it was to be used for.
Winter Accident on the Tram Line
Because of the iced-over streets, a car got stuck on a tram platform after the driver lost control of it this morning. The accident took place between the Landsberger Allee and the Virchowstrasse.
The car had to be set free by the fire department. The normal tram traffic was suspended for one hour due to this accident.
