what are soaps good for?

ZDF has been churning out an afternoon soap called "Follow your Heart". So far over 246 episodes have enthralled the nation as they go through all the permations of finding the "True Love". Every possible misunderstanding is portrayed with excruciating pain and one feels consttantly the need to shout "How can he or she be so stupid". Which just goes to show how near to the bone this cheap production gets.
Yesterdays episode saw the problems of a father leaving the daughter with 400 thousand debts after simply having a fatal heart attack against doctors orders.
The bank wants the dosh back quick and the daughter relys on friends to fall deeper into the shit. What are her options? According to the plot she has 1. not to accept the testament of her stubborn, but heart of gold father, 2.sell for 200,000 and just have 200,000 around her neck, 3. find an investor and run it herself, 4. try and lease it, continue her full-time employment so that she can get a loan, Thus the combination of rental income and money from her earning may be enough to pay the mortgage.
Or an option not yet voiced, let the pub be auctioned off , get a friend to buy it in her name so getting it for less than the banks is owed an d being quids in.
If you can trust the friend, that is.
I wonder if that is criminal??
Another possibility as the pub is loved by so many of the villagere, they could form a buyers coop and run iut themselves.
One thing which I have forotten to mention is that the girl has a white knight who is deeply in love with her and is certainly in the position to cough up the lolly. But this will create another problem. Is she the sort of woman who will be bought, even though she is also in love with him , but will not show this because her best frind is also in love with him. The downside is, he cannot stand the friend.
More signs of stubborness inherited from her financially savvy father.
Ah, how deep are her loyalties, willing to sacrifice not only her inheritance, her money but also her longed for Prince for her Best friend, wherebye it is also a little dubious if her best friend is worth it??

You must watch it
Hanna ZDF every afternoon

The dead months in Berlin are coming to an end and very soon the action will start again, but who will have survived?
Berlin has the advantage of being cheap, however this advantage is overshadowed by the consumer attitude of even those who have a normal income believing they too are poor. The " I can live here like a king" frame of mind also does not function here, more like a downward spiral. Affected are also those who earn outside Berlin and spend here. After a few days they become infected and portay signs of exaggerated meaness by paying even less with the excuse they do not want to upset the economic balance and encourage the natives to be greedy.

Doners cost a mere 1,50 and flats are 5 a square metre, casual workers are happy with 4 euros an hour 12 for skilled passer-throughers and still this does not encourage a feeling of being well-off for the regularly paid.
Berlin is a strange place.

Buying Data

A new market is being created with the buying and selling of information shedding light on financial transactions. The next step is for those directly affected making counter offers for the information, thereby giving a true market value to this new product. After all if the bank employees are not being given bouses for selling air then getting a reward for marketable and valuable products would be something new for them and lucrative.
As the state is continously breaking its own laws, or worse simply ignoring them nothing would really change. Therefore the rule of law arguments from certain interest groups seem a little hollow. After the intellectuals have gone to sleep the real point is the massive tax evaders are simlpy complaining that the other side is now using their weapons against them, and that is really simply not fair!
Wait till you see a few facts being offered on E-Bay.

The outbreak of Winter caused at least 10 accidents along the A24 Hamburg-Berlin motorway. No Winter tyres and dubious overtaking acrobatics I suspect were the cause. I, at least arrived safely at my destination, but those accidents did give me pause for thought and I thanked my Angel who was keeping me safe yet again.
This unexplainlable aspect of our lives which allows some people to head for disaster time amd time again whereas others experience no threat to their lives and others again are thanking for the survival of yet another near miss. People like myself.
Every group has a walking disaster in their midsts. Are they kept around as a form of lightening conducter? Sparing the rest from disasters. Should these unfortunates be compensated for their misery and rewarded for their sacrafice?
The Christian time of the year is fast approaching when millions celebrate the birth of someone who was sacficed for our sakes. If we look around our own social groups or scan the news headlines we will also see the stories of others who have been, are being or will be sacraficed for our sakes.
I personally thank all those who for whatever reason are suffering and sacrificing for me and taking all the downsides of life. As the probability theory proves, if the disaster happens to others the chances of it happening to me are reduced.
Thank you all again and I thank my Angel for doing such a good job.
